Description
Current Situation
- Issue
JOC-1692is dismissed as it does not fit to the JS7 architecture. - At the same time user requirements indicated with
JOC-1692are confirmed to be valid.
Desired Behavior
- Instead of the "Order Name" property of an order it should be possible to assign any number of tags to an order:
- assignment is performed for a Schedule that will inherit tags to orders created by the Schedule.
- assignment is performed for Ad Hoc orders that are individually added by users in the Workflows view.
- Technically tags are handled similarly to
JOC-1637for tagging workflows.- Tags allow to add an arbitrary number of classifications to orders. They allow to search for individual tags and for groups of tags.
- Operations to filter orders by one or more tags are offered from all relevant views, including Daily Plan view, Workflows view etc.
- Independently from filtering of workflows/orders by tags, users can enable tags to be displayed with each order. This feature is not enabled by default as there could be a slight decrease in performance., The feature requires the following setting available from the Settings page:
- Settings section: joc
- Setting: num_of_tags_displayed_as_order_id
- The setting specifies the max. number of tags displayed with each order.
- A value 0 (default) disables the feature. Any non-zero positive integer specifies the max. number of tags to be displayed.
