    Description

      Current Situation

      • Order Names are arbitrary strings that hold any allowed characters.
      • JOC-1692 specifies user's requirements to extend the size of Order Names for better searchability. The feature request is dismissed for architecture reasons.
      • JOC-1693 introduces tagging of orders which allows to classify orders from tags instead of using searchable Order Names.

      Desired Behavior

      • Order Names should be unique per schedule. This change breaks compatibility.
        • With JOC-1693 users can apply tags to classify orders belonging to the same category. Tags offer the flexibility to assign the same order any number of categories.
        • Making Order Names unique allows to identify individual orders from their Order Name.
      • Any number of orders holding the same Order Name can be created from a schedule, for example when using cyclic orders or orders with a number of start times.
      • No two orders from different schedules are allowed to use the same Order Name.
