    Description

      Current Situation

      • JOC-1637 introduces tagging of workflows
      • JOC-1693 introduces tagging of orders
      • Users would like to tag jobs too.

      Desired Behavior

      • Jobs can be tagged similarly to workflows and orders.
        • A job can be assigned any number of tags
        • Tagging includes to specify references to tags. As a consequence,
          • if a tag is renamed, then all jobs holding the reference display the updated tag name.
          • if a tag is deleted, then it is removed from all jobs
      • Tags can be grouped, see JOC-1811
      • Notifications have access to tag groups and tags per workflow, order and job, see JOC-1812
      • Tagging of jobs serves a number of purposes, for example:
        • Notification: tags can be used to specify business criticality of jobs, they can be used to specify association with business processes, they can be used to specify if single or repeated notifications in case of reruns are desired
        • Monitoring: tags can be used to specify performance criticality of jobs,
