Improve management of end-of-day processing, end-of-week processing, end-of-month processing

Business Cycles
Users tend to group the execution of jobs based on business cycles:

• end-of-day processing
• end-of-week processing
• end-of-month processing
• end-of-year processing

Functional Requirements

• Group a number of schedules into a business cycle
  • A business cycle could consume a number of hours
  • A business cycle could include a number of schedules, either based on subsequent start times or including external events, e.g. incoming files
• Manage a business cycle
  • Support CRUD operations (create, retrieve, update, delete)
  • Delay execution of a business cycly, e.g. delay all schedules by two hours, postpone business cycle to the next day
  • Suppress business cycle

Usability Requirements

• Make business cycles visible in JOC
• Visualize the status of a business cycly, e.g. planned, delayed, postponed, suppressed
