Description
Desired Behavior
- The encoding of JobScheduler answers to XML commands should include UTF-8.
- This includes providing the full character set that is available for UTF-8 with XML answers.
Maintainer Notes
- Since release 1.7 JobScheduler XML answers are ISO-8859-1 encoded. As JobScheduler does not support UNICODE therefore only a subset of characters can be provided with XML answers. Providing the full character set requires UNICODE support.
- This feature is not intended for immediate implementation. Instead this feature will be part of the future JobScheduler UNICODE support as stated with
JS-1374.
