Description
Current Situation
- Process classes contain references to Agents by use of the Agent URL.
- Therefore the contents of a process class almost never is the same in a non-production environment and in a production environment. This is the reason why users are discouraged to copy process classes between environments, but instead to modify process classes per environment.
- Such modifications of a process class require use of the JOE job editor. However, in a production environment users might not have direct access to job-related configuration files, i.e. they cannot directly modify process classes in a production environment.
Desired Behavior
- Users want to modify the contents of a process class with the JOC Cockpit GUI (similar to what is available from JOE):
- modify the max_processes attribute value which is the basic function for JS-1784,
- modify the cluster type (first, next),
- modify the list of Agent (sequence of Agents, Agent URLs).
- The editor includes CRUD functions to add, update and remove process classes.
- Permissions should be in place to allow access to the operation to modify process classes.
