Description
Current Situation
- The approval process for user interventions is activated by assignment of a role to a user's account:
- The role specifies for which actions approval is required, for example for adding, suspending or cancelling orders.
- For users assigned the role approval is required when the related action is performed.
- All workflows are subject to approval.
Desired Behavior
- Users would like to select workflows that are subject to approval. The selection is effected by assigning tags to workflows:
- The Settings page is added a setting that holds a list of tags. Workflows asisgned one or more of the tags are subject to approval.
- If no tags are specified in the Settings page, then all workflows are subject to approval (current behavior).
- Use of Tags
- Tags are managed from the Inventory view. They can be assigned individually per workflow and for a number of workflows from folder operations.
- Tags are used in the Workflows view, Daily Plan view and History view to select workflows for display.
- Delimitation
- Use of tags to qualify workflows for approval is limited to the following operations:
- Order operations: add, suspend, resume, cancel, confirm
- Workflow operations: suspend, resume, stop job, skip job, unstop job, unskip job
- Any bulk operation on a number of workflows is subject to approval if a minimum of one workflow is included that requires approval for the given operation.
- Use of tags to qualify workflows for approval is limited to the following operations:
