Description
Current Situation
JOC-1637introduces tagging for workflows.- The feature suggests a number of improvements:
Desired Behavior
- When collapsing a tag in the Configuration view the tag does not stop to display the "hourglass" animation. This is confusing as the operation is immediately completed.
- When adding a tag from the QuickSearch then the selected tag should be activated and the tag's checkbox should be automatically checked.
- The QuickSearch should display the list of tags starting from the first character, not from the 3rd character.
- The icons for tag operations should be more consistent: the framed + (select all tags) should follow a framed - (remove all tags). Currently the - is not framed.
- When checking the checkboxes of tags in the Workflows view or Daily Plan view then the checkboxes should keep their status of being check when navigating between views.
- When not checking any checkbox of tags in the Workflows view then all workflows are displayed. This is unwanted behavior as there can be a larger number of workflows. Instead, if no tag is selected then no workflows should be displayed.
- In the Daily Plan view a header line should be available that indicates "Tags" as otherwise it is not evident what the offered functionality is about.
- Bulk Operations for tags:
- Users would like to apply the same tags to a number of workflows in a single bulk operation.
- At system folder or user folder level the bulk operation to "Manage Tags" should be offered that allows to add and to remove tags for any workflows included in the folder. An option should be offered for recursive bulk operations.
