    Description

      Current Behavior

      • The Cycle Instruction allows defining a period for which the cycle is repeated. Job Admission Times allow defining a period for which a job can run before being terminated.
      • For both instructions the period
        • can be specified to exceed 24 hours if one of the following Admission Time Schemes is used: MonthlyWeekdayPeriod, SpecificDatePeriod, MonthlyDatePeriod
        • cannot be specified to exceed 24 hours if the following Admission Time Scheme is used: DailyPeriod
      • As a result, if a Cycle Instruction is configured using weekdays, then the period cannot exceed 24 hours.
      • The cycle of a Cycle Instruction with a period that extends past midnight stops at midnight for all Admission Time Scheme.

      Desired Behavior

      • The cycle of a Cycle Instruction with a period that extends past midnight should not stop at midnight.
      • The Cycle Instruction and Job Admission Times should allow exceeding the 24 hours' period for use with the DailyPeriod Admission Time Scheme similar to all other schemes.

      Maintainer Notes

      • The issue is dismissed as building blocks for the feature are already available from the Controller. Remaining functionality is added to JOC Cockpit from JOC-2243.
