    Description

      Current Situation

      • The converter currently supports the following job types:
        • CMD, FW, BOX

      Desired Behaviour

      • Introduce support for FTP, SCP, SQL, HTTP, and WSDOC job types.

      Maintainer Note

      • Note:
        • JIL files generally do not contain passwords. In many cases, the user name is also missing.
        • The converter therefore sets the default credentials js7_converter_user and js7_converter_password, which must be adjusted manually.
      • FTP, SCP
        • FTP and SCP jobs are converted to the JITL job com.sos.jitl.jobs.yade.YADEJob.
          • The converter generates the files YADE-FileTransfer-FTP.xml / YADE-FileTransfer-SFTP.xml in the root folder.
          • These files must be imported and deployed manually via CONFIGURATION -> File Transfer in the GUI.
            • All dependencies (e.g. job-to-jobresource) are already set by the converter.
            • The corresponding ProtocolFragments authentication information must be adjusted manually.
      • SQL
        • If the JIL connect_string contains oracle, the job is converted to com.sos.jitl.jobs.db.oracle.PLSQLJob.
          • the converter sets db_user=js7_converter_user, db_password=js7_converter_password in the job arguments
        • Otherwise, it is converted to com.sos.jitl.jobs.db.SQLExecutorJob, and the JITL job argument hibernate_configuration_file is set to the JIL connect_string.
          • In this case, the Hibernate configuration file must be created manually on the corresponding agent.
      • HTTP
        • converted to the JITL job com.sos.jitl.jobs.rest.RESTClientJob.
      • WSDOC
        • This is not a standard AutoSys job type and is currently implemented as SOAP web service calls.
        • The job is converted to the JITL job com.sos.jitl.jobs.rest.RESTClientJob.
          • The converter generates the request body as SOAP XML.
        • Case-by-case coordination is required, as the converter cannot infer the correct SOAP XML or web service call definition.
