    Description

      Current Situation

      • Workflow configurations including jobs and job scripts make use of the Unicode character set.
      • For job scripts the Windows Agent writes temporary files to its JS7_AGENT_DATA/work/scripts directory.
      • When creating temporary files the ISO-8859-1 encoding is used. This results in a loss of characters in job scripts that make use of the Unicode character set.
      • This problem does not apply to Unix Agents that write temporary files for job scripts by use of UTF-8 encoding.

      Desired Behavior

      • The Windows Agent should use the UTF-8 encoding when writing temporary files for job scripts.
