Script languages "Javascript" and "Spidermonkey" are not supported on 64 bit platforms

Script languages "Javascript" and "Spidermonkey" are not supported on 64 bit platforms.
Both script languages are only supported on 32 bit platforms.
On 64 bit platforms the usage of <script language="JavaScript"> or <script language="Spidermonkey"> results in the error "SCHEDULER-482".
This is due to the Javascript engine Spidermonkey that is only available on 32 bit.
