After updating JOC Cockpit it is necessary to clear the browser cache to make changes effective. The browser cache and all cookies must be deleted.
Desired Behavior
JOC Cockpit should clear the required part of the cache automatically when an update of JOC Cockpit is detected. To identify the first run after an update the JOC Cockpit build number is compared with the value stored in the cache. If no value is in the cache or the values are different then cached objects of JOC Cockpit will be cleared.
Maintainer Notes
Automatic clearing of the browser cache works fine with current FireFox versions, however, this is reported not to work with current versions of the Chrome browser.
