    Description

      Current Situation :

      • While creating or modifying a User Account password from the "Manage Identity Services" view, the operation fails if the setting minimum_password_length is configured with a value of 8 or greater.
      • Even when providing a password that satisfies the configured minimum length requirement, the following error is displayed in the JOC Cockpit:
        • JocException: Initial password is too short
      • As a result, the account cannot be created or updated successfully.

      Steps to reproduce :

      • Navigate to Settings.
      • Expand the identityService configuration section.
      • Set the minimum_password_length value to 8 or greater.
      • Navigate to "Manage Identity Services".
      • Edit a User Account and provide a password with length greater than or equal to the configured minimum length.
      • Submit the changes.
      • The following error is displayed: JocException: Initial password is too short

      Desired Behaviour :

      • The User Account password creation or modification should succeed when the provided password length is equal to or greater than the value configured in the minimum_password_length setting.
