    Description

There is an issue when using the dollar symbol ($) in the file_spec regex for JITL jobs.

      Description :

When a user creates a JITL job with the class name com.sos.jitl.jobs.file.CopyFileJob and provides the following argument:

      • Name: file_spec
      • Value: '.*\.txt$'

      the workflow is valid.

However, if the user accidentally changes the value to an incorrect format (missing the closing quote), for example:

      '.*\.txt$

      the workflow becomes invalid.

After correcting the value back to the valid input:

      '.*\.txt$'

      the workflow still remains invalid.

It appears that the input is internally transformed into an incorrectly escaped string such as:

      "\"\\\\\\\\.*\\\\.txt$'\""
