Description
Current Situation
- The JOC Cockpit Inventory view offers the operation to "synchronize" objects.
- The operation will check if an object exists with the Controller. If the check fails, then the object will be deployed.
- In case that a Controller is re-initialized, for example by dropping it's journal, then the inventory deployment status will not reflect the fact. In this situation users might not want to "synchronize" objects but to deploy objects based on dependencies.
- The deploy operation requires that the inventory deployment status reflects the fact that an object is or is not deployed to a Controller.
Desired Behavior
- The "synchronize to inventory" operation is offered that checks the deployment status of objects with the Controller and will update the inventory deployment status accordingly.
- This allows to bring the inventory in sync with the Controller and to apply the "deploy" operation using dependencies.
- The "synchronize" action menu is split into two operations:
- "synchronize to Controller": existing functionality to deploy missing objects to the Controller.
- "synchronize to Inventory": new functionality to update the inventory deployment status from the Controller.
