Update default signing certificate for workflow deployment included with JOC Cockpit

Current Situation

• JS7 JOC Cockpit ships with a default Signing Certificate that is valid until October 12th, 2025.
• After this date, workflows cannot be deployed using the Signing Certificate.

Desired Behavior

• JS7 JOC Cockpit will install an updated default Signing Certificate with a validity period for the next 5 years.

Manual Certificate Update

Note: Users who do not use the default Signing Certificate that ships with JS7, should not apply the below proceeding but should update on expiration terms of their individual Signing Certificate.

Users who use the default Signing Certificate that ships with JS7 and who do not wish to update JOC Cockpit can manually update the certificate like this:

• From the Dashboard view check the JOC Cockpit's rectangle to identify the Security Level in use:
  • For Security Level "low", login to JOC Cockpit using the root account and navigate to the Profile - Signature Key Management page.
  • For Security Level "medium", login to JOC Cockpit using the user account(s) entitled for deployment and navigate to the user account's Profile - Signature Key Management page.
• Use the "Update Private/Public Key" button:
  • Key Algorithm: ECDSA
  • Copy & paste the Private Key:
