The JOC Cockpit start-up procedure knows a number of steps. It is possible for users to log in when the JOC Cockpit has not yet completed start-up. This can happen if users login immediately after restart of JOC Cockpit.
In this situation settings might not be available for the current user account but will be used from their default values. For example, the welcome message will be displayed similarly as for first-time login of a user.
Desired Behavior
Login is delayed for up to 15s if the JOC Cockpit start-up procedure is not completed. Users find an hourglass during this period.
Start-up of JOC Cockpit typically is done within 15s. Should this take longer and should login be delayed, then the user will be logged in after expiration of the delay.
