Adding ad hoc orders from schedules

    XMLWordPrintable

Details

    Description

      Current Situation

      • When adding ad hoc orders then users can select a schedule for parameterization:
        • the Order Name will be copied from the schedule
        • the Variables will be copied from the schedule

      Desired Behavior

      • When adding ad hoc orders from a schedule then the full "Order Parameterization" is copied:
        • Order Name
        • Tags
        • Ignore Job Admission Time
        • Start Position
        • End Positions
        • Variables
      • Users would like to add more than one order if they find a number of schedules being assigned the workflow:
        • To this purpose a link is added "Add Order Parameterization". The link will - similarly to what we find in Schedules - offer a new "Order Parameterization" (including the above attributes). The user can select from which schedule to add the "Order Parameterization"
        • As a result we find a number of "Order Parameterizations". For each parameterization the GUI will create an order. All orders use the same start time.
      • Users would like to find a shortcut to add "Order Parameterizations" from all available schedules. This means in case we find 3 schedules assigned the workflow, the user can click a single link to create 3 "Order Parameterizations" without being forced to add any input. As a result 3 orders will be created starting at the same time.
