Empty default values should not disappear from workflow variables

Current situation:

In a workflow, when variables are assigned an empty default value (""), and then another tab is switched, the empty default value disappears or we deploy the workflow or modify it the empty default value disappears

Desired Behavior:

The empty default value of variables in a workflow should remain unchanged when switching tabs or deploying/modifying the workflow.
