Specify scope of schedules when manually creating the Daily Plan

    XMLWordPrintable

Details

    Description

      Current Situation

      • The Daily Plan is created automatically for released schedules that hold the setting to "plan automatically".
      • The Daily Plan is created manually from the operation offered by the Daily Plan view. All released schedules are in scope of this operation including schedules that do not use the setting to "plan automatically".
      • While the difference between automated and manual creation of orders is fine, some users would like to use the manual operation in a way that is similar to automated creation of the Daily Plan.

      Desired Behavior

      • When manually creating the Daily Plan, then the popup window should offer 2 options from radio buttons to
        • limit to orders that are planned automatically (default),
        • include orders that are not planned automatically.
      • This allows users to control if manual operation will use the same scope as automated creation of the Daily Plan or if all orders should be used.
