Description
Current Situation
When creating a Job Template T1 with the job type Java/JITL it is possible to add arguments.
The arguments are required or not required.
With the column "Value" the value for the argument can be specified.
When publishing T1 to all Jobs that refer to T1
- The required arguments are published
- The optional arguments are not published.
- They can be added in the Jobs "Arguments" sub-view
- Open the wizard
- navigate to the JITL Jobs or Job Templates
- navigate to the "add arguments" sub-view
- There you find the values that are specified in T1
- Submit the list or arguments
- All selected arguments are now added to the job
- They can be added in the Jobs "Arguments" sub-view
- It is possible to change the values
- It is possible to change the argument names
- It is possible to remove required arguments
- It is possible to add arguments with an arbitrary name
- These arguments will be removed the next time T1 is published
Desired Behavior
A job J1 refers to a Job Template T1 with the type Java/JITL
- It should not be possible to change the argument names
- It should not be possible to remove required arguments
- It should not be possible to add arguments with an arbitrary name
- When clicking the "Add Variable" link a list with all arguments that are specified in T1 should be displayed
- Required arguments are displayed
- Not required arguments are displayed
- The values specified in T1 are displayed
- They can be changed in the list
- When changing the value for A1, the argument A1 is selected automatically
- It is not possible to specify an empty value for a required argument
- Arguments in the list can be selected
- A bulk operation is available to select all arguments
- They can be changed in the list
- All selected arguments will be added to the list of arguments for J1
