Description
Current Situation
- The JS7 offers a History of job executions with advanced filtering capabilities.
- Export of history data is available from the JS7 PowerShell Module.
- Users tend to keep their databases small and configure the Cleanup service to drop entries in the History for shorter intervals such as 90 days.
Desired Behavior
- Users would like to find a long term representation of the job history that allows to check past executions beyond the scope available from the JS7 database.
- A flexible GUI is made available that allows to access history data on-the-fly and that offers Pivot tables including drill-down to access details.
- Standards reports are provided and user defined reports are supported, for example:
- reports focused on failed job executions,
- reports focused on increase/decrease of job executions,
- reports focused on load indicating periods of low and high parallelism of job executions,
- reports focused on Agent load indicating job executions per Agent.
- Reports can be created
- on-the-fly from the GUI
- automatically on a weekly, monthly etc. basis
- Reports can be stored to disk and can be forwarded by mail.
