    Description

      Current Situation

      • The Daily Plan holds orders for the next few days that are submitted to Controllers and Agents.
        • The purpose of such orders is to have them in place with Agents in case that a Controller will become unavailable and will not submit orders for the next day.
        • The number of days for submitting orders ahead is specified with the daily plan Settings. The recommendation is to specify a period as short as the longest assumed outage of a Controller.
      • There is no forecast of orders for longer periods as the next 6 months, next year or further.

      Desired Behavior

      • The Daily Plan receives a Projection of future orders.
        • Projected orders are not yet created and are not submitted to Controllers and Agents. Instead, projected orders represent the future planning.
        • Projected orders are available for any future period such as 3 months ahead, 1 year etc.
        • Projected orders can be exported to Excel files.
      • The projection is accurate for schedules available from the last day. It is not accurate for changes to schedules during the current day.
      • The Daily Plan Service is extended to create projections during the Daily Plan Service run. This includes to recreate projections from currently available schedules.
