Adding elements to a list variable should be possible when clicking the +

Current Situation

When adding elements to a list variable, the + sign must be clicked. When clicking the center or right half of the sign nothing happens.

Desired Behavior

When clicking the + sign while adding elements to a list variable, the whole area covers by the + sign should be clickable.
