Description
Current Situation
When assigning a Supervisor to a workload JobScheduler Instance the Supervisor relationship is not considered by the Inventory Plugin and the column "Supervisor" in the table INVENTORY_INSTANCES remains 0.
Desired Behavior
When assigning a Supervisor to a workload JobScheduler Instance the Supervisor relationship should be considered by the Inventory Plugin and the column "Supervisor" in the table INVENTORY_INSTANCES should contain the instance_id of the Supervisor.
Impact
The Supervisor relationship is not visualized in JOC Cockpit Dashboard View. The desired view can be seen in the attached screenshot.
Maintainer Note
The consideration of the Supervisor by the Inventory Plugin works as designed. The described behavior occurs only if the supervisor is configured in the scheduler.xml with an IP address. For this feature to function properly it is neccessary to configure the supervisor host with its hostname instead of an IP address as stated in the documentation.
