    Description

      Current Situation
The SSH Job checks the operating system on the remote host to determine if it is a Linux- or Windows- OS. With the current development in IT (e.g. PowerShell on Linux systems) this check is considered insufficient.

      Desired Behavior
The SSH Job has to check the type of the shell used on the remote host in the given SSH session.

      Maintainer Note
Due to the wide range of operating systems and shells this feature is only able to make assumtions. Results cannot be guaranteed.

      • This feature will always log the assumptions and set the pre- and post-commands automatically.
      • Automatic command setting can be deactivated by the user. See the linked knowledge base article for further information.
