    Description

      Current Situation

      • When sending the command <modify_job cmd="disable" job="job"/> then the job becomes disabled.
      • But after a restart of the JobScheduler the job becomes stopped.

      Desired Behavior

      • The disabled status should be persistent.

      Workaround

      • Prefixing a job file (*.job.xml) with a dot would exclude this job persistently from further processing.

      Maintainer Notes

      • This feature is dismissed as the mechanism for enabling/disabling jobs is deprecated, see JS-1384.
      • There are valid alternatives available to disable jobs persistently, see JS-1384
