Details

    Description

      Current Situation

      • The JOE Job Editor is used to manage job-related configuration files. The editor is used a standalone Java program for Windows and Linux.
      • The editor provides the capability to read/write job-related files per FTP and SFTP to remote JobScheduler Master instances.
      • Some functionality of the job editor has been migrated to JOC Cockpit with previous releases:
        • editing run-times
        • editing Agent Clusters (process classes)
        • assigning job-related documentation

      Desired Behavior

      • The job editor functionality should be fully integrated with JOC Cockpit.
      • This includes
        • to manage jobs, job chains and related objects.
        • to edit job-related objects within the context offered by JOC Cockpit
        • to forward job-related objects as files to the respective JobScheduler Master.
      • With the job editor being available with JOC Cockpit direct modification of files and folders on disk is no longer available as the deployment is performed by JOC Cockpit.
