Description
Current Situation
- The values for "Read Timeout" and "Connect Timeout" cannot be configured for LDAP Identity Services.
- Read Timeout:
- Defined by com.sun.jndi.ldap.read.timeout
- JDK default: endless
- Is set to 10s by LDAP Identity Service
- Connect Timeout:
- Defined by com.sun.jndi.ldap.connect.timeout
**JDK default: 120s - Not set by Identity Service
- Defined by com.sun.jndi.ldap.connect.timeout
Desired Behavior
- It should be possible to configure the values for "Read Timeout" and "Connect Timeout" for LDAP Identity Services.
- Read Timeout:
- Defined by com.sun.jndi.ldap.read.timeout
- JDK default: endless
- When not configured with the LDAP Identity Service: 10s.
- Connect Timeout
- Defined by com.sun.jndi.ldap.connect.timeout
- JDK default: 120s
- When not configured with the LDAP Identity Service: JDK default

A patch is available that sets the default timeout from 10s to 60s.
