Details

    Description

      Current Situation

      • The JOC Cockpit displays a job's position in the workflow.
      • The information about the position is intended for machine reading, it is hard to read for users.

      Desired Behavior

      • Users would like to find labels for jobs in addition to display of the job's position in the JOC Cockpit GUI.
      • The motivation being that
        • a label can be more "speaking" as it is specified by the user when designing the workflow.
        • the same job can occur any number of times in a workflow using different labels.

      Delimitation

      • The feature is not limited to use of labels with jobs.
      • As a first step with release 2.5.2 users can add labels to any instructions.
      • With the assigned release labels will become visible with the Workflows view.
      • With a later release
        • labels will become visible with the Orders Overview view too.
        • labels for any workflow instructions will become visible.
