Original SQL exception should be visible when using hibernate

Current Situation

Some methods in Hibernate raise errors without informative messages such as

• could not prepare statement
• could not extract ResultSet
• could not execute statement
  instead of the original sql error message.

Desired Behavior

The original sql error message should be logged.
Further the corrensponding sql statement should be logged.
